Areas we help with
Property and finance focused mediation
The family home, whether and how it should be sold, maintenance and pensions, worked through together with the help of a trained mediator.
What can we talk about?
How long does it take?
Mediation of finances is often a longer process and can take up to six meetings, as there is usually a lot of information to gather and process before decisions can be made.
Recording what you agree
When you reach agreement, we draft a Memorandum of Understanding and an Open Financial Statement. You can take these to a solicitor if you want your agreement made legally binding, for example as a consent order.
What does it cost?
Property and finance focused mediation is £120 inc VAT per person, per session, plus £100 inc VAT to draft the Memorandum of Understanding and Open Financial Statement. If you are eligible for legal aid, your costs are covered.
